That is a pretty simplistic view of things. PLS has halved at least 3 times on it's way from 1c to the current $1.3bn company it is.
NST has had 3 or so 50% retraces in it's way from sub 10c to $9.
AVL might never replicate the results of either of those companies but to expect that things will be smooth sailing the whole way along is naive.
Holders are here because they see a structural demand for V and think AVL is one of the better resources to try and fill a supply gap. We might be right, we might be wrong but share price isn't a whole story.
