Having worked for Laurie Connell in my early days, I have no expectation that our Politicians will ever take any action that might upset their feeding Trough !

First line of defence for any group rorting a system is to label it a conspiracy theory as soon as somebody tries to "Out" them, When that fails the next step is usually to bury any investigation in a mountain of irrelevant and minor issues, accompanied by threats of litigation against the whistle-blowers. Last line of defence is to have somebody take the fall. But never be under any allusion that a Politician will ever go without his/her swill.
