I am not so sure things will settle down. Based on the submission to the Takeovers Panel the assertion is that persons associated with Au Mining have control of over 40% of the shares in MRC. The Takeover Panel declined to get involved. The price creeping up could be an attempt to push the combined holding closer to 50%. There probably are only about 15% or so of floating shares. Could be interesting times.
