DT111........take heart that the Vanadium "play" is still alive just it has been replaced as the main mineral with something much, much better namely the HPA.
The Vanadium price was always to high back in 2018/19 and it was recognised world wide that the prices would need to come down to the level the price of Vanadium is now [$16-19], before it would be seriously viable for the mass production of Electric Batteries.
Now the price of Vanadium [Market] is still well within the profit margins for KRR SSM and would still provide massive profits. It will still be processed as it was originally intended and added to the Revenue base.
The "switch" to HPA is because of (2) factors -
#1 . By changing our processing route to the newly discovered method we make recovery of the Vanadium much easier and better with considerable cost savings in both Capex [ less plant setup] and Opex [ much less acid used with better acid recovery].
#2. This new process has allowed us to benefit even more because now the HPA is recovered first [not last] and in high quantities/purity ready for final processing.
So in refection the Vanadium play has not "tanked" at all. We have just added to package with an even more profitable product being HPA.
And we knew that the SSM - HPA when we produced it as HPA N4, would steal the limelight and prove to be even more profitable than the other SSM Minerals were. Its all still there and all going to be produced just with a slightly different process method.
Bottom line ? Adding HPA N4/N5 to the Revenue base of the SSM makes this project ……….the company you must have shares in!
