Hiya @Bondiboy26 the last step your missing might be the first step..the pattern must appear in a 2d landscape where its supported by the weekly trend ..I determine this with 2xMACDs, daily and weekly both on a daily chart. the trade usually wont follow through if any of these MACDs are in the red. ..other than using MACDs a moving average ribbon that confirms each time frame works really well too..its all about having these 2 trends in sync.
