I agree with all of that.
As for Downey and Torre, booting them out would have been disruptive without having somebody lined up to replace them. At this precise juncture, stability seems more important until GM's contract extension is announced.
And I think that would be the announcement that will make the difference, if only because it will buy a couple of years to deliver on growth and diversifying revenue, which then will be seen as more plausible. Every signal I've seen points at renewal, and that's why I'm holding. Unfortunately, we don't know when it is going to come and it may take several months. I can afford to wait so I won't worry too much about the SP being flat until then. And even after that announcement, we may not get an explosive increase in the SP.
