The issue of director incentive options was ratified at the AGM today. Only 1% of votes cast were against ratification. I am guessing that the directors are somewhat relieved that BLM approval was not granted before today's vote. It might have been slightly embarrassing for AZL management today if BLM approval had been granted yesterday and the share price leaped to 50 cents and today the directors had their (dirt cheap, no payment unless exercised) options ratified. Is there any chance that AZL management may have requested BLM approval be held back until the director options could be ratified?
