an additional incentive by Pfizer to participate in the trial could be to receive updates of the medical condition of the trial patients a bit quicker then is received by shareholders in IMU.
And such information would be very valuable if they wanted to make a decision to buy (sell) shares in the IMU.
there would be obvious limitations imposed by government regulations but there may be ways their smart lawyers have found to circumvent these.
just some wild speculation. Feel free to ignore my ignorance.
