for starters it is a matter of personal pride @bargiee For the exact reasons you mention is why the term "Independent Director" exists. As I said, they need to grow a pair, do their job and it should be a badge of honor if they are sacked by the major shareholder for being "open and transparent". Imagine the level of interest that would attract from ASIC, ASX. and media.
