It’s notable that the resolution to issue up to 25% of existing capital without needing to consult shareholders at the time of issue was defeated. I didn’t see any agitation from proxies in the lead up, the ASA doesn’t monitor MSL. Perhaps it’s just a case of shareholders individually reminding the board who the owners are? It’s good to see engaged, independent thinking shareholders which makes for a better company I think. It would have been understandable that every resolution sailed through given the share price performance over the last 18 months.
