It's the same, if your cost was 2c(current price is 0.2c), and with or without share consolidation you won't recover your loss. Don't look at the cost, look at whether the price will go up or not from the current level and whether there is enough liquidity there. After the consolidation, once the beach energy acquisition settles, after BAS shows signs of daily production increases to 1000bopd(that is quite feasible, current is 350bopd), it may go to 20 to 30 cents, that would be the best time to cut your loss.
