Actually , management has some responsibility to ensure that brokers and analysts have a full understanding of a company’s assets and future plans, whilst at the same time promoting the company.
Management usually go on road trips around the country making presentations to various brokers . Some companies go to the UK and the US as well, and some go as far as listing on the AIM .
So yes, the Board and management do have some role to play in promoting the shares . It is counterproductive just to sit around at HO and not take care of the PR/promotional aspects.
