it looks woeful. perhaps EMP are waiting for the cap to become law before addressing it. doesnt matter that the law doesnt specifically include EMP... who wants to risk a few hundred million on the trajectory?
And yes, it is the a same as covid; create a crisis, then drive carefully curated populist solutions that'll only make the situation worse. destroy industry and remake society the way some plan. I loath Australians for chanpioning it. You should see some on twitter... "tax them, tax them!!!".
