Doc your constant negative comments do no one any favours. What about you accept the democratic vote. Consider an exit strategy if you can't accept it.
Given it was a small pool, perhaps you can accept the decision and support the company by writing to the board with your suggestions. Your experience as I have said before will be listened too.
