I think the most important outcome of this stupid decision by MinRes to vote (without actually achieving anything positive) against those 4 items is that it highlights to the global lithium industry that WildCat is now ‘in play’ and they need not assume the MinRes have any inside running (in fact, its now to the contrary).
I suspect every large lithium group interested in developing a new Australian world class 100Mt lithium deposit will be getting their advisors to make contact with WildCat asap.
Wildcat has the flexibility to also throw out a friendly capital raising (10%+) to establish a genuine relationship with a new big player they can trust.
MinRes only has a ~15% (diluted) shareholding now … and I doubt that would even get them a Board seat at the moment
