Disneyland is a little too woke for me so I can assure you I am not in Disneyland.
If you do some homework on Flemington and some of the develoment/ongoing activities in the surrounding geological area (Lachlan Fold Belt) and even just based on existing exploration results to date I think there is sufficient potential there not to classify it as a dud. I am not "sprouting" Felmington but if you read closely what I said it was that in my opinion it was a huge failure of the Board (amongst many admittedly) that they had neglected Fleminton and placed all their "eggs in the Sconi basket".
LGE - given the extension (which appeared open ended) and the comments in the prospectus last year and in light of the slap over the wrist the Board has previously received from ASIC if LGE had excited and were "long gone" as you suggest I can't see how the Board would not have issued a disclosure of that fact to the market. Unfortunately in the absence of any information all either of us can do is speculate you based on that 12 months has passed since the last real information re LGE and me that there has not been an announcement that LGE has exited.
Not for one moment am I defending the Board - their performance has been woeful one only needs to look at the share price. They have other projects including Flemington that have potential and have been neglected no doubt to preserve cash to keep the doors open and fees paid.
You may be right AUZ might be dead in the water - certainly unless there is a substantial positive announcement of some kind it is difficult to see how they will get another CR up.
Aside from a flurry of announcements last year shareholders have heard nothing of substance re what is happening aside from the loss of an MD and the appointment of a new one. He has been in place for a while now and has not provided shareholders with any real update on what his strategy is and where things are up to.
It really is a wait and see for shareholders - AUZ could be in receivership in the near future or alternatively they get something up and running.
I am not blind to the current situation of AUZ but likewise I am not prepared to write the company off just yet - if I was I would just look to exit and salvage what I could by seeking to close out my position on the market.
I only occasionally visit the AUZ thread at the moment and post even less - there is no real news and I there is really little point in rehashing a situation everyone familiar with AUZ knows.
