Yes your borrowings figure is correct but we have more assets than liabilities.
I would be happier if our total liabilities were 600Million and assets were 1.6billion.
Borrowings have interest and that is they expense we need to get down now.
I think interest rates will fall later in the year Juliy ish - others must believe same too because the share price has not collapsed.
I think investors look at the future returns as well as current and the price they bought shares at as well as risk.
If I were in charge of this ship I think I would focus on the debt. They could do a placement say 40million shares at $2, and/or hold back on dividends or sell a piece of real-estate.
No need to panic just yet.
