I was having a conversation with a Electric car/Lithium investor, and i was trying to explain to them that lithium batteries only store energy like a fuel tank stores diesel, and that currently a lot of energy is created by Oil and gas.

Their response was rather aggressive and told me that the batteries produced no CO2 and produce no harmful gases when converting lithium to energy. I really think they never got it.

Another was on about Hydrogen powered cars, and gave the formula for hydrogen as H20 instead of H2.
