Its just 1 appeal lodged. But as you allude to, 1 is enough to kick off another process.... Good to know you are in the Environmental Approvals game.
Just curious - Are all appeals taken at "face value" by these agencies in Australia - i.e Is there a review of the actual application itself/is actually justified (what grounds) and/or is simply designed to obfuscate.
I work in a different industry and appeals cost money and fines are in play for spurious appellants - cleans out the BS from the process. Maybe something the EPA can look at, as they will get swamped otherwise.
