I think Botswana is finished for now, hopefully they’ll offload it for some revenue to sink into Brazil. It chewed through significant capital and with 20/20 hindsight it was wasteful.
Concerning the Caldera drilling imo it’s a given that the tiny 25ha lease that is currently being auger drilled will return significant REE numbers as it sits right beside one of MEI’s bumper leases. Its tiny size though means it will only ever be a satellite deposit to the much larger lease to the south at the “contact zone” bordering the caldera boundary and land outside of it. At present this is the main game - should we get healthy numbers here it’s game on. The smokey is the third program running Padre Paraiso…something tells me this will be a surprise to the positive.
The real downer imo with this co has been the roll out of the Brazilian plan…it has been oh so painfully slow and piss poor and is reflected in the market’s response. It’s logical that it has responded in the way it has. But we’ve turned a corner it seems just a matter of time before the first round of numbers hit….
