Bell Financial Group (parent of Bell Potter and Bell Direct and all that) do show in their Annual Report as having a smallish asset (relatively speaking) called Financial assest at fair value explained further in Note 15



and note 15 then goes onto to detail one of the lines ot be Listed equities




So the larger Bell Financial Group do more than just facilitate transactions through their platforms on behalf on clients for a fee, unless they made a mistake in their Annual Accounts.
