I'd say most LIC managers would regard this as a capricious big bet with limited upside and a HUGE downside. Scrambling out of this will be expensive given illiquidity. Then again, maybe there is yet to be another challenge, but wow, whoever was the strategist behind the recently failed attempt needs to be sidelined. Woeful performance...bit like the Blues in last nights State of Origin!
