People do weird things. The idea that any shareholders would vote against the directors getting some options is idiotic. Who the hell do they think has their best interests at heart? Who do they believe eats, sleeps and breathes the company? Who do they think has put millions of their money into every placement? Who has spent 30 years plus building up the contacts and experience to build mid-tier companies? People think directors should work and die for nothing. The amount of money the chairman gets is zip given his contribution. They have got the options, but the people who voted against it are short-sighted imo. The other tiny group who voted for the China money, obviously didn't read the forms or assumed the company needed the money because they dont read anything. I see the Chairman clarified the China deal in the address.
