The Notice of Meeting on ASX provided 50% of shareholders had to vote in favour of the resolution to pass it. Accordingly, more than 50% of shareholders had to vote it down for it to fail.
The results on ASX said 99.91% of shareholders voted it through. So only 0.09% of shareholders voted against the consolidation.
So, it was anything but a "close" vote.
