Never a great sign when your largest shareholder and your board are NOT in alignment.
Reid voted against him getting a spot...yes they disagree on strategy. The problem is that the strategy is the same strategy that EFG announced almost 2 years ago....grow FUM by picking up institutional mandates, and increase retail investors. Given their current situation, mission impossible IMO.
Management had the greater support, due to the composition of the shareholder base. Friends of management, family and friends of BNB. Many are reluctant holders still, I am sure, but I guess they still like and trust Jeremy....he is a really nice guy, so why not give him your vote.....better the devil you know.
I really hope they turn this around, but I believe the task ahead is like climbing Everest.
