Takeovers often occur at a time of price weakness or when a company stumbles, as has Kogi with the disastrous rights issue. We know the Board was unable to attractive a quality or partner to help fund the BFS but if the project is as good as Kev (and others) claim, then surely the current market cap will flush out those which might covet the asset. If an offer for Kogi does not materialise, the message will be clear: no-one wants it at any price.
