Great post and agree with everything you say. There is so much more to life than money. I too found myself in a similar position during the GFC. Lost a fortune when Opes Prime went under. All my stocks were sold out from under me. Fast forward 10 years and I have 4 kids and slowly clawed back a good portfolio of various stocks. I did have time on my side so I was fortunate from that perspective... Money means so much less to me these days. I was disappointed when I first read the announcement this morning but soon forgot about it. In fact I actually had a giggle because it was the second stock this week that I own that had lost more than 90% in a day..... How often does that happen?
