Mike101, what is the disgrace? Underwriters buy more expensive shares via the entitlement offer than can be bought on market. That's a win for shareholders who avoided the offer. Look at SWM- they offered shares at $1.25 and he share price fell to about 65c recently. So the underwriters were left holding the bag. Non-participants in these raisings are dodging a bullet,and can get in cheaper at any time.
