If the other WAM and Miilennium etc type big buyers (who didn't start to buy until after Pfizer put in their final bid notice) who you say research show they are mixed up together in certain companies already, were seen to be in collusion then that will be a serious sticking point for the court to decide upon I reckon from some angles. If Pfizer were aware via the calls to shareholders that they were in danger (which they were) of losing the vote then IMHO their mates would have been oiled up to purchase the requisite number of shares (hidden proxy type deal for Pfizer...illegal?) to shore up the numbers to ensure a YES vote was carried. From one angle it seems that this apparently may have occurred. Interesting scenario but sure is needing someone to take a good look at the facts around this possibility MHO. Anyway we haven't heard anything as yet but didn't the court meet at 9.15 today to ratify or otherwise the scheme?
