its not factored in - but good enough really?! no? is the ppt div factored into current SP, or is their SP being propped up by it, if its propped up, then so is PDL as we have an inherent link to the PPT SP no? too much complication for a trivial thing? PPT should be >$30 anyway and PDL ~$6 too!
too many factors......ppt smashed by the t/o already - so will the "massive" PPT special div (more like qtr1 div payout) really move the dial when it goes ex? who cares?? - theyre both wayyyyyyyyyy undervalued anyway......!!!
fact is, we're getting PPT CHEAP - SUPER CHEAP!! whats every1's conversion entry point?? - we getting cashed out our entire PDL bank $$$ +extra, great conversion on our PDL shares, entry into PPT for <$20 cost base which instantly gives $4/20 = 20% (min) additional upside (on the current depressed PPT SP), then a minimum $36 upside re-rate on our PPT shares once the dust settles (so $16/20 cost base = 80% extra capital return over time) while enjoying $2-$3 (>10-15%% yield on $20 cost base) annual divis with better franking than PDL historically (better spread of earnings and tax domestically to generate franking)....! nothing but continual upside for months+ years to come!
SANTA definitely came early for us
