Sure but there's 2 ways of looking at it. Either you are a pessimist and think the company wont succeed, in which case you are better off just trading price and volume when the technicals are good, or you are an optimist and thing the company will be a billion/multibillion dollar entity in a few years, in which case you are compromising a few cents in price in order so support the company to be able get to production.
I will again refer to other successful tech companies on this, it can be a frustrating journey sideways until timing is right and FOMO finally kicks in. Especially with biotechs. Maybe look at something like IMU, sideways up and down 1-3c range for 7 years with lots of shareholders feeling like it was going to be a big company one day, then less than 2 years later touching 65c.
It's inevitable it will happen hear. I've compared it to Tesla before but i think a more apt comparison might be SpaceX (although not publicly listed), because Musk went through the same process of first trying to 3rd party tech, then decided to go in house, then assembled the best and brightest minds on the planet, then discovered a completely novel direction to move in, and ultimately becoming the name associated with the future of space exploration.
We know it will happen. Just a matter of when
