Like I alluded to in the other thread - people are selling because the writing is on the wall - a cap raise is inevitable. That’s as simple as it gets. The opportunity is still there but if you don’t want to hang around and let your capital drift down to anywhere between 1-3c, then the obvious action to take is sell and let this all play out, deploy your capital somewhere else in the meantime and come back when this company has worked through its fundraising issues.
And if you think that, as some twit alleged in the other thread, I’m a downramper with no skin in the game - let me clear it up: I had skin in the game and then I sold. I am still here because I continue to follow the company and have every intention of reentering once all this mess passes. But whilst these admittedly “well-intentioned missteps” play out, I am a “sell and not held” because I anticipate short term SP weakness. If you still have any doubts, go and read my previous contributions to this page - the post titled: “AGR DUAL THESIS GROWTH OPPORTUNITY.” You will clearly see my long term sentiment on the stock is a buy and all of those good things I talked about, I still believe in. But this is a small cap and short term weakness and cashflow issues in this space is not just “noise” like it is with large caps, you can’t just blindly HODL because you believe in the long game. In small caps short term weakness can mean 50-70% value destruction and if that happens, the risk goes up even higher that the SP never recovers and you lose all your capital. Even if nothing fundamental changes, the company can just lose too much favour with the market and lose so much value that it becomes impossible for it to attract any finance if it ever needs to. And as we have just learnt, no matter how close you are to cash flow positive and how high the conviction on the bull case may be, something can always go wrong which requires further capital from the markets.
So long term bullish. But short term, due to some honest mistakes, there has been too much additional risk invited back into the equation and for that reason I’m out until the R:R tips back in the bulls favour. Fingers crossed it does, but be prepared that it doesn’t.
