I’ve bought both on market and through the SPP because the price dip precipitated by the CR presented really good value imho, however if we get a global recession from Trump’s chaos then it’s going to be a rocky road both for the sp and for the companies cashflow. [The hedges might even look like wisdom, with the copper price now unwinding from copper tariff anticipation].
I am comforted by the CR, the company now has a fairly financially secure path into the likely much more lucrative Nugent resource.
I have powder dry so will look to buy more, but not likely Monday. I just pulled an open order in another stock. I am prone to buying too early in dips, and this market sell off now looks to me enough to generate some of it’s own momentum, with panic selling and forced selling from leveraged participants etc, in which case everything gets sold if it can be regardless of merit.
It would alway be good to get March production numbers behind us, along with any forward looking commentary that might go with it.
