Yes, you could have heads @12c each, $2.5k and when it goes to 24c, it also doubled. You are also right.

The benefits of options are that they don’t scale linearly to the price of heads.

@44c, your $2.5k, heads $9.15k (360%), options $30k (1200%).
@75c, your $2.5k, heads $15.62k (630%), options $68.75k (2750%).

How likely? I don’t know but this should be able to give a potential answer why someone might like the options more. Gambling!!!
