You're right to the extent that anyone who wasn't eligible to participate in the SPP due to not being in on the Record Date (or who loaded up at 0.002 as you did) won't care. But there should be no reason why the board can't be transparent. Overall, microcaps require trust (in this case, sure, if they end up with billions worth of iron ore in the ground, nobody will care about trust either) - and it's simply bad practice not to share this information.
