it is worth checking out who are those 169m shares that remained abstain from voting item number 9? are they the one who were part of the club who got their hand on 10.5% yield ? if we had more voting against 9 from those 169m shares then it was easy to cross 50% mark and motion was to be rejected in the poll.
same for those who remain abstain for item number 1, 2,4, 5, 7 & 8.. !!
As, STAM knows there is support from another 16% holder there is nothing stopping them to acquire another 9.99% and call in for 249 meeting to remove the board particularly chairman.
