no hard feelings at all, if your priority in investing here is to be a loyal and supportive shareholder then it sounds like you’re knocking it out the park. I’m here to try find the best risk adjusted returns. That general involves investing in companies which are able to self fund, but occasional may involve capital raisings for accretive acquisitions.
Karoon could self fund but instead the feckless and incompetent management and board have decided to go on an empire building spree of value destructive acquisitions and raisings. They’ve been fortunate
the activism here lead by FW is calling them to account and hopefully will lead to improved capital allocation and I’m hoping that will lead to improved valuation (more inline with peers) and both capital gains and shareholders returns in the short to medium term.
blaming small pip trading and shorters is to not see the forest for the trees in my view.
