"They often sell down on great results to cause panic"
That may be part of it but another reason that I heard was that a good result is looked upon as "This is as good as it gets & the only way forward from here is DOWN" so it is sold down.
Whatever, I am happy to buy in for the longer term, pick up a decent ff div and even if retail is hit in the predicted recession later this year, I may buy more as recessions don't last forever.
