Consumers are still buying despite high interest rates because they have some savings pre interest hikes. When they see their savings start to dwindle due to high interest rates and high consumer prices the retail industry will fall like a lead balloon.
They wont buying any new stuff if they dont really need it. My iphone 13 is ok for my needs atm i dont really need a 14.
