Evidence suggests that in fact boomers are not "the only cohort with money left" contrary to your statement. The recent updates from both Step One and Universal Store show that sales are rising for their products - and they appeal to a young demographic.
In any case, JBH today indicated that sales are growing again in Australia in the new financial year, I'm expecting that profits have bottomed in FY24 and the declaration of a special dividend probably adds weight to that assumption.
