Boomers have finally stopped updating their fridges, TVs and washing machines.
This cohort are really the only ones with money left - so if retail is slowing, interest rates are much more susceptible to decreasing.
Welcome news for the economy (interest rates).
For shareholders that have had good run - not so much.
