Perhaps some of the recent market strength relates to the prospect of ARB paying 2 dividends having delayed the interim dividend until the 9th of October. Of course only shareholders who held shares prior to the second of March will get the interim dividend, but in theory the shares are 18.5c higher than they would have been had they paid the dividend in April. This situaton has worked very well for the company which has effectively had an interest-free $15M loan from shareholders for the last 6 months.

Anecdotally the industry has performed quite well in the covid environment. The narrative makes sense but i hope, if true, it's not a case of stealing revenue from the future.
