I believe there is an option in the Renison JV (BMTJV) for either party to buy the others share. However, I believe that there is a sting in the tail that if one party makes an offer to the other, the second party can match the offer and the first party must accept. The JV has no link to Nifty other than Metals X (just as there is no link between MLX and Yunnan's operations in China). Given MLX cash position and the interest in Renison my other parties, all sorts of deals are possible. If anyone takes control of MLX (other than Yunnan), they will still be in the same position at Renison as now Just my thoughts and DYOR
