The only strategic reason I can think of to sell once holders have received there entitlements is to realise a quick profit and haven't sold existing shares because of having capital gains discount or nearing discount on those shares and are looking for higher prices on those allotments.
I can't see a major sell down but I can see it as a good excuse to shake the tree..
