Bob has been very vocal since Atlantic was announced that he’s still looking at acquisitions both locally and abroad. Check out the AFR interviews and the Mining Club preso.
Perhaps he fancies himself as a Jake Klein whereby he’ll load up on cheap debt to secure massive production profiles. It’s a strategy that’s paid off very well for EVN but it only works if you can buy good assets for a great price. So far, he’s got a good asset for a shite price.
