I believe the way they do it is categorise each SRN/HIN - retail, insto, etc. Which means even if people were double dipping with a super fund, personal holding or business account, each would have its own SRN/HIN which would have been apart of the total number of holders in the annual report. It won't be counted as three seperate holders for the capital raise, but as a single holder for the annual report.
The volume has increase quite substantially towards the end of May on both exchanges and is still going strong, so I do think its reasonable to assume more retail investors are buying the stock.
On another note, is anyone else having issues with Link Market Services and updating bank details? It says "successfully updated" but doesn't save them. IFT is the only holding that won't, the rest work perfectly.
