The offer email I got stated an allocation of 127 shares per 1000 held. I think the final allocation was around 135.5 per 1000.
Using Sauropod's example of holding 600 shares: 600x135.5/1000=81.3 rounded to 81.
I have holdings of IFT on the NZX and ASX. Same name, same address. I applied for my shares via the NZ holding only since I held more on the NZX and following the rule of one application per person. I suspected they may not take my ASX into account.
I got an amount allocated at 135.5 per 1000 for my NZ holding only ( a round number of 135 did not work out). The amount held on the ASX was not taken into account.
This tells me I should have double dipped to get my pro-rata allocation.... lesson learned for next time.
I have held shares in this company since 2005 and topped up along the way. A fabulous investment and more to come.
