When the project has not a lot going for it, holders have to justify to themselves why they've not made bank yet.
He's an easy out for people to salve their own ego IMO.
As an aside;
Interesting to see on twitter a notorious asx small cap type is now showing film of his latest venture apparently mining lithium at Blesberg in South Africa - That was the spot Vince was enthused about for a few months in 2016/17, but found nought apparently. Wonder if it is the exact same project...
