"Will Glenda kill the "no news is good news" mantra? It has been a disaster."

Not sure she's in a position to do that to the extent it will change any outcomes.

I guess they could publish a monthly broadsheet showing interactions/progress/intimations/collaborations and expectations. The obligatory quarterlies then officially summarise company progress.

These intra quarterly newsletters might provide a soothing balm for shareholder angst, but ultimately won't change company outcomes. A bit like p@$$ing your pants in a dark suit..........you get a nice warm feeling but nobody really notices.

I too would like the company to be more transparent and communicative, particularly in relation to past collaborators/partners and acquaintances who disappear without trace. Would be illuminating to know why, but I guess that's CIC and there's no point publicising negative news.

Bottom line is they've over-promised and under-delivered and therein lies Glenda's dilemma. Does she continue the no news approach, because there's been no significant commercially good news, or does she communicate more frequently as above and hope the dollars start to roll in? And if they don't, she'll be hung out to dry for raising expectations but not delivering.

In my view it's not the lack of news mantra that's been the disaster, it's the lack of commercial closure that's been the real disaster. And now that's clearly reflected in the share price and perception of the company.

I still believe, rightly or wrongly, the company has a good future and will ultimately prosper, but it's self evident that ADO needs to kick a few goals sooner rather than later, adhere to the timelines they suggest or clearly articulate reasons for missed targets. Shareholders deserve at least that.
