So the only teachers on the planet are school teachers?
Compairing school teachers to company directors is drawing a long bow?
I can only speak for my industry, mining, so I'm not sure of the ratio of male teaching applicants compared to female, but if I was to guess I would say a lot more females study and apply to be school teachers. The few males I know that have choosen that field have all been successful. But that's in my small world. I wish everybody got jobs on merit, but that doesn't happen and never will.
So it's well overdue that women be elevated to senior positions and yes it may be at the exspense of some males. Only my opinion of course.
